Using the individual sales performance report

Utilize the individual performance report to effectively measure and enhance your sales staff's performance. This tool is invaluable for training purposes, tracking individual achievements for commissions or bonuses, and allows for a detailed view of various performance metrics for each staff member.

The individual performance report can be found under Reporting > Sales reports > Individual performance.

Understanding the report columns

The report presents detailed sales metrics by user for a specified date range. The columns in this report are:

  • User: Identifies the sales staff member.
  • Date range: Displays the total sales value for the specified date range.
  • Measurement: Click on the 'Measure' dropdown to choose from a variety of metrics. This selection tailors the report to focus on specific aspects of sales performance.
  • Comparison: Enables comparison of the selected date range with a secondary time period for analysis.
  • Revenue: Total revenue generated by the user.
  • Cost of Goods Sold: The total cost of goods that were sold by the user.
  • Gross Profit: Profit made after subtracting the cost of goods sold from revenue.
  • Margin (%): Profit margin expressed as a percentage.
  • Tax: Total tax amount associated with the user's sales.

You can also use the 'Format results' button to organize report data by time or product categories, focusing on areas such as yearly trends or individual SKU performance.
