Setting up the Mobile Tap v2

Fully charge your Mobile Tap before setting it up. The Mobile Tap comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable which is used exclusively for charging the device. This cable cannot be used to establish a connection with your iPad. The fully charged battery can support 800 NFC transactions and 1200 contact transactions. A full charge should be enough to last a day of trading, however you should charge the device nightly to ensure uninterrupted use.

Turn on the Mobile Tap by holding and releasing the power button located on the side of the device.

Paring the Mobile Tap to an iPad

Ensure the Mobile Tap is fully charged and the bluetooth on your iPad is enabled.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Hardware.
  2. In the Lightspeed Payments section, tap Connect to a bluetooth terminal.Retail-X-settings-hardware.jpeg
