If your customer is purchasing your products as a gift for someone else, you can print a gift receipt for them. This gift receipt is a simplified version of the standard receipt that doesn't include any payment or Loyalty information.

Gift receipts are not customizable.

Printing a gift receipt directly after a sale

You can print a gift receipt from the Payment received page. Once you've completed a sale, you'll be directed to this page.

Printing after a sale on desktop

On desktop, click Gift receipt.

Printing after a sale on iPad

On iPad, tap Other...

Select Gift receipt, choose your template, and tap Print.

Printing a gift receipt from Sales history

You can print a gift receipt for a previously completed sale.

1. Navigate to Sell > Sales History.

   

2. Find the sale you want to print the receipt for, using the filters if necessary.

3. Click or tap on the sale to expand its information.

   

4. Select Gift receipt.

   

5. In the Print Preview pop-up window, select Print.

Printing with AirPrint on iOS

To print using AirPrint from your iPad, you need to first set up AirPrint.

1. In Retail POS, navigate to Setup > Outlets and registers.

2. Click the Receipts tab.

   

3. Click Add receipt template.

   

4. In the Template name field, enter iOS AirPrint.

   

5. In the Template style dropdown, select Standard invoice.
6. Click Save.

When printing on iPad, the option to use AirPrint will now be visible. Select iOS AirPrint and tap AirPrint... to open the Print Preview window.
