Inventory is constantly moving. With the inventory movements view, you can monitor product inventory movements, the users involved, and the average cost of the product, to identify discrepancies and improve efficiency.
Viewing inventory movements
- Navigate to Catalog > Products and locate the product you want to view.
- Click on the product row to expand it.

On the right, click View inventory movements.
- On the product's inventory movements page, you can review:
- Date: Date of the movement.
- Variant: The specific variant product, if applicable.

Movement: Type of movement event (orders and deliveries, stock transfers, sales and returns, fulfillment, and other inventory changes).
If an event in the Movement column is underlined, you can click it to view the associated Sales history, Stock control, or Fulfillment page record.
- From: The original location of the product.
- To: The destination after the product was moved.
- User: Retail POS user who initiated the movement.
- Quantity: Quantity of products moved.

Average cost: The average cost of the product, showing the amount increased or decreased.
You can also view average cost on the Inventory summary report.

You can refine your search by using the filter dropdowns:
- Movement type: Show all or a specific movement type, for example sales or inventory adjustments.
- Outlet: Show all or one specific outlet.
- Variant: Show all or one specific product variant.
- Date range: Show movements from a specific date range.
Inventory movements are tracked on the dedicated inventory movements page. To view product history like created and edited actions, click the History tab.
Viewing inventory on hand
To quickly view on-hand product inventory:

Navigate to Reporting > Inventory reports.

Next to Search, click More filters.
- Using the dropdowns, filter by:
- Report type > Product.
- Measure > On-hand inventory.
- Select a desired Date range.

(Optional) Include or Exclude a brand, outlet, product, or other keyword.
- Click Search.
